베트남 호치민에 다녀온 기념으로 만들었습니다.

'사이공'이라는 이름을 가지고 있던 이 아름다운 도시는 1975년 베트남이 통일되자 혁명가 호치민의 이름을 따서 '호치민'으로 이름을 바꾸었습니다.
'호아저씨'라는 애칭으로 불렸던 호치민의 본명은 응우엔 탓 단. 호치민은 '성공할 사람'이라는 의미의 이 이름을 버리고 1942년부터 호치민, 즉 '깨우치는 자'라는 뜻의 이름을 썼다고 합니다.

나도 성공한 사람이 아니라 깨우치는 사람이 되고싶습니다.

오늘은 전시당번날. 밖에는 비가 억수같이 옵니다.

Seoul Urban Sketchers hold an exhibition of sketches.

Seoul Urban Sketchers formed 2 years ago, and is now meeting together twice a month to sketch Seoul's old relics and new skyline. The group will have two exhibits this summer - both supported by the Seoul Foundation of Arts and Culture.

Yesterday I made an order for frames of some of my sketches.

The 31st Sketchcrawl

In the morning of this Sketchcrawl day I visited Olympic Park with my daughter for Kids program at Seoul Olympic Museum of Art.
For the waiting time I took a walk around the park and made some sketches.

And in the afternoon I joined Urbansketchers-Seoul group at Chungryangri Market. I never been to Chungryangri Market even though I live in Seoul. It was a very attractive place for sketching.
